"Things You Do Affect Others "

Things You Do Affect the Lives of Others and they do it in a manner that can easily be measured; it is measured by whatever it is that you choose doing and the amount of determination that you have to accomplish it. Hebrews 2:14 (KJV) illustrated this taking place when it shows Christ shedding His blood for you and what this accomplished:

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

The effect that this has on you is the weight of the sacrifice. His dying for you impacts you because it destroyed the power of death and this means that His sacrifice opens a pathway to you, a path that allows you to remove sin from your life. Him shedding His blood for you places forgiveness within your reach, something not available before He died for you.

2 Thessalonians 3:9 (KJV) shows leading not to be a power but setting an example for others to follow:

Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

John 13:15 (KJV) adds that God is expecting you to lead by example:

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

Things you do demonstrate your leadership abilities and by doing good, you favorably influences God as well as all your brothers and sisters.

2 Thessalonians 3:7 (KJV) shows doing good as something leading others to follow in God’s footsteps:

For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

Do you see yourself leading others in an orderly direction? 1 Kings 2:2 (KJV) shows just how much God looks forward to you involving yourself, especially when it comes to being a favorable influence on His children:

I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;

Being a man, in God’s eyes, is simply you setting an example that leads others to Him.

How well are you doing?
