God's word supports maintaining a healthy body, but achieving it is your responsibility. Your job is to develop a lifestyle that allows it to happen. Unfortunately, most Americans rely on medical technology, diets, doctors, an pills to stay healthy.
Speaking of lifestyles, fast foods have become a way of life! This habit increases your fat intake while, at the same time, creating the overweight society in which you live today. Recovery from this condition befins when you recognize...You are what you eat.
Eating right requires wisdom

These statutes are perpetual; they continue to serve you to this day.
If you do not expect outside help, you will not be dissappointed; the food industry is dollar driven. Also, remember that you, not your doctor, control your health. Healthier living requires decreasing your fat intake while increasing your complex carbohydrates (fruits, vegetables, and whole grains).
Meat is the primary source of fat. Daniel 1:11-12 KJV shwos how God delivers on His promise to keep the diseases of the Egytians away from you:
"Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, Prove thy servants, I
In Exodus 15:26 KJV you find a promise from God:
"And said, if thou wilt dilligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healed thee."
God promises you good health but you must ask yourself...Do I posses the wisdom to obtain it?
James 1:5 KJV tells you how wisdom is obtained:
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
Your search for wisdom begins in Leviticus 3:16-17 KJV:
"And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet saviour: all the fat is the Lord's. It shall be a perpetual stature for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood."
Wisdom continues to flow from Leviticus 7:23 KJV:
"Speak unto the children of Israel saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat."
Fat is your enemy! After bleeding, you must trim away all visible fat. The remaining fat is removed by broiling the meat or cooking it over an open flame.
beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us the pulse to eat, and water to drink."
Daniel 1:15 KJV shows how quickly the replacing of the king's met with pulse (carbohydrates) provided better health for Daniel and these three children:
"And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did et the portion of the king's meat."
No dieting is necessary, God provides the same wisdom
