FAITH COMMENTARY
"One Nation Not Under God "

One Nation Not Under God is becoming a reality and we begin by asking ourselves: What can I do to stop our legislators in Washington from removing God from our Pledge of Allegiance. We must stop them from adding this to the previous wrong that took place when they changed the law and took away the rights of children to pray in school. These wrongs are reflected in Amos 8:11 (KJV) where God prophesies:
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Congress removing God and prayer from our Pledge and Schools is famine; it leaves our country starving for the closeness that only God can provide. Government attempting to remove this feeding is unprecedented as neither our Founding Fathers nor anyone ever intended separating God from America.

Deuteronomy 31:20 (KJV) addresses these days of famine when it shows us feasting in the land of milk and honey, turning to other gods and serving them:

For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.

Are we filling ourselves with waxen fat? Excluding God is provoking Him and allowing our Nation to remove His name is breaking His covenant.

In Jeremiah 24:7 (KJV) we see God giving us a whole heart, one big enough to include Him:

And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

Returning God to our hearts precedes our government recognizing Him and this precedes our children returning to having the choice to pray aloud in school.

Dealing with famine takes us to Luke 8:39 (KJV) where we see the fulfilling of this prophecy connecting itself to the man that Jesus had healed and sent home:

Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

Reconnecting with God shows us returning home to publish the great things that Jesus stands ready to do for our Country and boasting of His works gets us started.

And God stands ready to upright Washington, something that would benefit us right about now. Including Him is the right thing to do as His wonders await returning America to greatness!

And Washington is about to recognize the ineptness that One Nation Not Under God represents; it began with this month’s presidential debates.

These debates show us entering a stage of recognizing God, listening and taking advice and we begin with advice from Christ in 1 Peter 5:6 (KJV):

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

The time for exalting is now and praying for our Nation to return to God is our beginning; Romans 16:20 (KJV) shows precisely what returning America to God does for her:

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Putting God back in America bruises Satan big time!

Did you know that prayer is nothing more than you having a conversation with God?

Are you making your view known?

Us doing what it takes to keep God in our Pledge and returning open prayer to our schools is removing the not from One Nation Not Under God.
