Percentage wise, the Dow has dropped more in the beginning months of this recession than it did in the same beginning months of the “1929 crash”.
At this point, lassoing it appears to be impossible as our government and the experts go lacking for leadership and direction. They are using the wrong lasso; they are using money and money is the problem, not the solution. It may be that they do not realize that “Mortgaging our future” to fuel this recession is wrong; “Going deeper into debt” does not point towards “Fiscal Responsibility”.
We address the following questions with a full understanding of our responsibility to provide for our handicapped and you can rest assured that words like lazy and unproductive have never applied to them and never will:
Can this recession be lassoed by throwing good money after bad?
Will “Transferring wealth” solve any problem?
Can transferring taxpayer’s money to lazy people help the cause?
God begins by addressing responsibility in 2 Thes. 3:6 KJV:
Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
2 Thes. 3:10 KJV follows these Words by instructing us not to feed those that will not work:
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
Harsh words…Nay…God is fair! Many refuse to work and no matter how you disguise it, “Transferring Wealth” is increasing taxes to feed them. This is a double dipping mistake; you are shirking your responsibility and ignoring God.
Overtaxing to throw money at mismanaged companies and failing banks is wrong and not expecting them to be accountable is wrong too; it ignores logic and common sense. The future cost of this added debt becomes uglier as you observe its increase when interest rates rise. God approaches a resolution when sharing His plan with you in 2 Thes. 3:12 KJV:
Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
God’s solution is to reward “Work”! He rewards work for a very special reason; laziness and bad decisions bankrupt us. “No work, no bread” precedes “No bread, no eat”. You see that God’s approach produces results because it is loaded with common sense; it lassoes this recession by recognizing the “Bear”.
