Recognizing Love is important and knowing what love is leads to recognizing it. Satan and our so called flesh friends imitate love making it difficult to recognize; Satan masterfully presents himself as Christ.
The love of the one Satan is imitating is real; John 14:21 KJV shows Christ’s Love to be manifested:
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Manifested love from Christ is open and obvious; it represents the realness and closeness that we seek when loving others; Webster’s joins us in Recognizing Love by sharing how manifest relates to it:
A: capable of being readily and instantly perceived by the senses and especially by the sight: not hidden or concealed: open to view *the earth's convexity had now become strikingly manifest E.A.Poe*
B: capable of being easily understood or recognized at once by the mind: not obscure: OBVIOUS
Recognizing Love is recognizing the commitment that accompanies it and keeping God’s Commandments is keeping that commitment; it shows God our love just as keeping our word to others shows being committed to loving them.
It does not take much to see how important Recognizing Love is; it was at the top of God’s list when He sent Christ to join us. Joining us in the flesh, He wanted to be recognized…He wanted to be loved and received.
Did we recognize Him? No, we questioned who He was. Did we love Him? No, we scorned Him. Did we receive Him? No, Luke 24:20 KJV shows us putting Him to death:
And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
But it is not too late; John 16:27 KJV shows us recognizing Him and believing in Him:
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
Are we included amongst those that this verse addresses? Proverbs 8:17 KJV shows what a “yes” response brings us:
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
The availability of God’s Love is somewhat different from the love of others; His is “always available” love.
And Recognizing Love is not automatic; experience teaches you to recognize Satan and those that are incapable of loving you.
