Recognizing Love requires understanding where it comes from and you begin by learning that love from your heart is real and love from any other source is acting. This introduces you to hypocrites, those that show love that they do not have.
Understanding hypocrites takes you to the Manuscripts where the Greek word “Hupokrites” identifies them as actors, pretending to be someone that they are not:
hupokrites; from Greek 5271 (hupokrinomai); an actor under an assumed character (stage-player), i.e. (figurative) a dissembler (“hypocrite”) :- hypocrite.
Mark 7:6 KJV shows hypocrites honoring God with lip service and with their hearts being so far from Him, nothing is forthcoming:
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Recognizing Love has God questioning hypocrites and the sweet words they use, words not reflecting the evil they have stored in their hearts; Matthew 12:34 KJV refers to them as vipers:
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
With hypocrites falsifying the contents in their hearts, God questions them just as He would you for using words that conceal your intentions; Matthew 12:37 KJV shows these words condemning them:
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Words from your heart do yield justice and Matthew 6:5 KJV shows hypocrites awaiting theirs:
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Hypocrites pleasure in the hoopla of hearing their own words and involving you in the heat of the moment. How long has it been since one has entertained you?
Scribes and religious leaders are included amongst hypocrites yet recognizing them can be a little difficult, a point that Luke 11:44 KJV illustrates very well: Luke illustrates hypocrites as graves that can be walked over without you ever knowing they are there:
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
God wants you familiar with hypocrites for the simple reason that recognizing them plays a significant role in Recognizing Love.
