" Christ Did It for You"

How precious, Christ sacrificed Himself to become your Passover! You learn of this in 1 Cor. 5:7 KJV: Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Paul is telling you that Christ became your Passover; he explains that, through repentance, you become a new lump (person). His Death made this possible when His Blood became your permanent sacrifice.

He loved you enough to die for you. He knew that you needed a way to freedom, a way to rid yourself of sin; 2 Chron. 35:16 KJV explains Passover, before the Death of Christ:

So all the service of the Lord was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the Lord, according to the commandment of king Josiah.

Burnt offerings left your sin intact; God knew that His only Begotten Son had to die; through repentance, His Death sets you free.

Observe Matthew 26:19 KJV where Jesus and His disciples made ready for Christ to become your Passover:

And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

Jesus knew what had to be done. John 13:1 KJV explains how He prepared for His Hour:

Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

You will never be loved more! Jesus loved you to the end; He gave His life to become your Passover. John 3:16 KJV explains what He did and why:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Do you believe in Him; He did it for you! Paul, in Hebrews 9:26 KJV reinforces this truth:

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

The Death and Resurrection of Christ made it possible; He never looked back. Do you recognize the magnitude of His sacrifice? Do you appreciate what He did for you?

There is one way you can repay Him; you must repent!
