"You Require Substance"

Has someone ever talked to you without really saying anything? Have you ever listened to a person that informed you of their importance? Perhaps you’ve attended a meeting that you can’t remember why you were there. Suddenly you realize that the missing ingredient is “Substance”.

God promptly adds this ingredient to you and all that love Him as the Old Testament illustrates: Proverbs 8:21 KJV reads:

That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

When God fills your life with substance, others are quicken to see your treasures. It’s true; God delivers ‘Substance to those that love Him.

Your faith and love for God requires more than lip service as we move forward to the New Testament. John tenderly makes this point as 1 John 3:18 KJV reads:

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Whenever you speak the truth, God feels your love and this truth becomes the substance of your deeds. As you speak from your heart, He listens, recognizing you as His child of substance.

You are a “Child of Substance” and this New Year begins as God gives you this opportunity to make changes in your life. His instructions are clear as Mark 12:30-31 KJV reads:

[30]And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

[31] And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

God is calling out to you; He reaches for you and He desires your attention. It’s your turn to make the move as He’s done His part.

Start the year off right as you remember:

When Truth is present

Nonsense is nowhere to be found

God’s strength and Love

Foundation and Character

Substance added; you’re sound.
