"Connectin with God"
Reading your bible and praying are the ways you talk with God. Your bible is a letter from God to you and praying is the way you talk to Him. Jeremiah 7:1 KJV is one of many places in God’s word that illustrates your bible to be the inspired Word of God and it reads:

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord saying….

Jeremiah received the Word from God and he delivers this same word to you in verse form. This means you’re receiving the inspired Word of God and He speaks to you through His prophets throughout the Old Testament. He speaks to you throughout the New Testament through Jesus Christ and the appointed ones who followed Christ. The point is, God’s word is inspired and His Word is intended for you.

Reading His word gives you comfort, but reading His word with understanding gives you wisdom. His Word is pure and opens your spiritual eyes. His Word is contagious and it provides you with the closeness you need to reach God. He’s your best friend who enjoys your company. It’s easy talking with Him; you know, you don’t have to be a bible genius to understand His word and He really appreciates the effort you put forth.

Seek your pastor’s assistance to increase your understanding of God’s Word. The better you understand God’s Word, the sooner you realize that you and God are working together. “You and God” provide a majority and this majority can deal with problems? Your effort to understand God’s Word will add this benefit to your life. God rewards those that enter into His Word as you see in Psalm 119:130 and Psalm 119:169 KJV:

[130]The entrance of thy words giveth understanding unto the simple.

[169]Let my cry come near before thee, O Lord: give me understanding according to thy word.

Addressing prayer; do you seek God on a regular basis or do you wait for a crisis to develop? Do you believe that God will answer your prayers? Christ makes you this promise in the New Testament as Matthew 21:22 KJV reveals:

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Your prayers are answered as Mark 11:23-24 KJV describes how:

[23]For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

[24] Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

No strings attached; the only requirement is that you believe upon Him.

Some find believing difficult! Christ disciples failed to believe He would resurrect in three days. Christ was here in the flesh and almost everyone failed to recognize Him for who He was; The Son Of God.

Yes your prayers will be answered if you believe now, what they then didn’t.

You are a child of God and He follows you closely. He wants to know how He stands with you. Consider Psalm 53:2 KJV where God observes His children:

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

Yes, God watches from heaven and His desire is that you seek Him. Seeking Him through His written word is the most favorable attention you can give. Do you see the simplicity in which God speaks to you? Are you ready to give Him your attention?

God will never place obstacles in your life; He removes them! He clears the path for you to CONNECT WITH HIM!
