"Faith Removes Mountains"

What is faith?

Believing in Christ demonstrates your faith in God. It is a trust, a bond and a personal asset that you share with Him. Saying or professing faith may sound good, but words fall short; Faith is an undivided change that you experience with God from within. It is 100%, it is spiritual, and it saves you. You learn in John 12:47 KJV that it was for that purpose that Christ came.

And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

His first coming served that purpose well as it placed salvation within your reach. Judgment will not take place until after your time to accept Him ends.

The faith of His disciples was tried as they had shortcomings too. You remember that it was before the cock crowed twice that Peter denied Christ thrice and in John 20:29 KJV, Jesus discusses the difficulty that Thomas had believing:

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

The Words of Jesus help both you and Thomas to understand faith when He said…”Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet they believed”.

1 Peter 1:7 KJV is where you learn that like the disciples, your faith is being tried too:

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

It is because your faith is precious that it is tried by fire; it represents your glory.

It is more than words and yes, Faith removes mountains. In addition to giving you an example, Mark 11:23-24 KJV describes what faith does:

[23]For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

[24] Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

You receive His Blessings when you believe…100%! Faith does not mix with doubt and guilt; it removes them! Understanding this allows you to understand why and how prayers are answered.

Once your faith has been tried, John 16:23 KJV informs you that God’s power is at your disposal:

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Recognizing Christ shows your faith. Your prayer, including your mountain, receives God’s full attention. Col. 2:5 KJV is where you discover that your faith provides the steadfastness that bonds you to Christ:

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

God is doing His part. Is faith removing your doubt?

Faith removes mountains; is there one in your life that needs removing?
