"What is Unshakable Faith"

What is Unshakable Faith? What causes your Faith to be unshakable?

First the definition… Webster’s 3rd edition defines “unshakable” as:

not shakable : firmly grounded *a sense of deep conviction and unshakable faith

You’ve been taught that Christ wants you to be firmly grounded in Him, with the deep conviction that He is your way. Webster’s dictionary seems to be describing your faith in Christ which is, unshakable. Yes, unshakable faith describes what your faith in Christ must be.

Do you feel this kind of faith within yourself? How do you know when you possess unshakable faith? What is the advantage of having unshakable faith? Is it given to you by God?

Finding your answers requires taking a close look within yourself; a look that some call Soul Searching.

Soul searching requires honest answers to straight forward questions like:

Do I believe in God, 100%?

Have I ever doubted God’s love for me?

Does your faith depend on what you need?

Do I completely release my sins after asking God to forgive them?

As you answer these questions you learn the “unshakable faith” comes from within, which means you’re 100% in charge of the faith you possess. God does not give you faith; He rewards you for having it. Believing is faith and to do less than 100 % introduces Satan and “doubt”, and “fear”. Proverbs 29: 25 KJV reveals:

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.

Complete trust in God is “Unshakable faith”. This kind of trust, this kind of faith, shields you and brings you protection. God reports this to you in Psalm 56:4 KJV:

In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

You now see that your “Unshakable Faith” and Trust in God will completely remove fear from you life.

This is the faith that moves mountains! In Christ name, God gives you power over Satan and all your enemies. Do you believe God when He promises you this power in Luke 10:19 KJV? Gods Word reads:

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Bringing God this close gives you protection and power. This is power in Christ name, power over Satan and power over your enemy. Have you exercised this power?

Finally you observe

that unshakable faith gives you the advantage of power and safety. You’re on solid ground and you know it; with fear removed, you can devote your energy to more productive areas.

Welcome to this new closeness with God. He enjoys facing problems with you; He’s been waiting for you to include Him.
